Welcome to Pass It On Africa!

Pass It On Africa (formerly Passing It On) is a Brighton-based charity working tirelessly to build schools and support education in some of the poorest parts of Africa. We achieve this through our fund-raising events in the UK, including our flagship superhero-themed races, the HEROES RUN.

After 13 years of dedicated work from a handful of volutneers the charity closed down in 2017. With growing commitments in our personal and professional lives and having just reached our most recent fundraising targets for our latest projects in Uganda and Kenya respectively we feel this is the right time for us all to call it a day.

We have handed over the HEROES RUN to our long time friends Rise UK to keep the superhero fundraising alive! If you wish to take part in the event you can find out more here.

We will still be reporting through 2018 on how our most recent projects are developing, having made the following grant paymetns in December 2016:

£23,476 to the Nyantonzi School in Uganda - Payment 3 of 3 to complete the final stage of the project.

£25,760 to the Heshima Project in Kenya - The primary objective of which is to promote inclusion of girls.

In the Our Work section you can see all of the work we have carried out over the years thanks to our wonderful supporters. Details of how this fundraising has been achieved is outlined in detail in our Annual Reports.

Pass It On Africa is a registered charity in the UK and Wales, Registered charity number 1160827.
